• Interview content: your answers, photos and business details, which we use to write and publish your story.
• Usage data: our site may use cookies and analytics to understand which pages are read. This data is aggregated and not used to identify you.

How we use it

To respond to you, review applications, write and publish stories you've agreed to, and improve the site. We don't sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Service providers that help us run the site, such as hosting and email, only as needed to provide those services. We may disclose information if required by law.

What we publish

Only what you've agreed to in your story: typically your name, business name, city, photos and the answers you approved. We never publish your email or phone number unless you ask us to.

How long we keep it

Application details are kept for up to 24 months. Published stories stay online unless you ask us to remove them, as described in our editorial standards.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to stop receiving emails from us, by contacting us through our contact page. Depending on where you live, laws such as Canada's PIPEDA or US state privacy laws may give you additional rights.
