A physiotherapist who left a big-chain clinic to build a practice around longer, more personal appointments.
We sat down with Sana Qureshi, owner of Kinetic Physio in Mississauga, Ontario, to talk about how the business started, what sets it apart, and what Sana has learned along the way.
How did you get started?
I spent eight years in a large clinic seeing four patients an hour. I wanted to give people the time they actually need.
What makes your business different?
Every first visit is a full hour, and patients leave with a written plan they can follow at home.
What was the hardest lesson so far?
Marketing. I’m a clinician, not a marketer, and I had to learn fast how people find a physio.
What advice would you give another owner?
Your Google Business Profile matters more than you think. Keep it complete and reply to every review.
What’s next for you?
Adding a second physiotherapist and a massage therapist so we can shorten our wait list.
